Advocacy
RDC aims at mainstreaming children’s rights and child protection, with a view of cultivating a safe ground for re-integration of the girls in street situations who have been marginalized from the mainstream of society. Furthermore, we support the creation of a longer term supportive policy environment.
This we do through
- Training of Trainers on Child Protection and RDC Best Practice in Children Reintegration
- Caregiver training on parenting skills, child rights and child safeguarding
- Networking, engaging policy makers through cooperating with the government and other key stakeholders in the children sector.
- Participation in Awareness Campaigns like The Day of the African Child, International Day for Street Children, International Day of the Girl Child.
